Web 2.0 Summit Launchpad

By dejan

Those of you who are at Web 2.0 Summit I don’t have to explain to that this is the premier Internet conference in the world. Web 2.0 Summit started yesterday. Organizers decided to rename it to Web 2.0 Summit (previous name was Web 2.0 Conference). Conference ticket is around 3000 USD and even if you have that money to pay for a ticket it doesn’t mean that you will actually be there. It is an invitation only conference so people have submit request for the invitation. On the conference you can listen to speakers like Marissa Mayer, Google VP, Jeff Bezos, Amazon CEO, Barry Diller IAC CEO, Kevin Rose from Digg, David Filo from Yahoo! and other high profiled names.

One of the most interesting part of this event is called Launchpad, interesting especially for investors. There were 13 companies that presented their services and each had 5 minutes. Services like In the chair, instructables, Klostu, Sharpcast, Stikki, Turn, Sphere, Omnidrive, Adify, 3B, oDesk, Venyo, TimeBridge. Here you can find more info about those companies.
