Amnesty International in partnership with The Observer have launched a project called Irrepressible.info Aim of this project is to fight for freedom of speech on the Internet and among other things to help Chinese journalist Shi Tao to get out of jail.

I was speaking at eTrgovina conference about e-commerce and e-business held in a very nice resort on north of Serbia called Palic. Hungary is around 12 km from there. I was speaking about professional Internet presence and where I covered topics like domain names, web hosting, corporate web site and email marketing. Palic is very near of my birth place Subotica.

It is always nice to attend conferences to meet new people. There I met many people that I know for a very long time, some of them I know over 7 years - but only via Internet. It is nice that you not only communicate via emails, forums or IM, face 2 face contact is usually the best. So there I met people that are well-known in Serbian and Croatian Internet industry like Dragan Varagic, Marko Bijelic Mungos, Goran Pilipovic Bluesman, Goran Anicic, Bojan Rendulic, Martin Birac…

I like this time of the year. Everyone is in the special, holiday mood and everywhere you look you see decorated city. I like it especially at night.
