Pay to Be Accredited!

America OnLine implements Goodmail CertifiedEmail program in order to defend their users against fraud and phishing – reports ClickZ.

AOL has already had their Enhanced Whitelist program but with Goodmail CertfiedEmail program they will also allow images and hyperlinks from accredited senders, which will have to pay to be accredited. Accredited senders will have a “trust symbol” in their messages.
